Who we are
Connaught Kitchens are a boutique kitchen design studio founded in 1991 by Phillip Ozorio. We specialise in LEICHT kitchen furniture but have our own house design style. We prioritise high quality products and services. We only work on around 40 kitchen projects a year with an average value of £40K. We have a well -qualified and experienced design team. There is usually a team of two designers that handle a project from first contact to handover. Each kitchen takes between 1 and 2 weeks to design and specify.
Step 1 - Design Consultation (1 hr)
We start by inviting you into our showroom for a free one-hour consultation. This is to go through your wish list, appliances specification and the design options. We will offer design advice during this meeting. You can then view our products and finishes and view our displays to ensure we can supply what you want. Alternatively, we can arrange a zoom meeting.
Step 2 -Estimate
We provide a provisional estimate for you project. This includes,

Cost of Delivery
Cost of Dry Carpentry Installation only
Once approved, we then ask for a retainer fee of £1,200.00 GBP which will allow us to release floor plans and elevations and produce and share visuals to progress the design. This fee is refundable against a full kitchen order.
Step 3 - Site Survey
We charge £250.00 GBP for a site visit which would include a thorough survey and consultation. This is refundable against a full kitchen order.
Step 4 - Kitchen Installation
We offer a Dry Carpentry Installation Service of the kitchen furniture, worktops and appliances only (the main contractor providing all the services and connections) We can also offer full installation with a turnkey service and project management.
Step 5 - After Care & Guarantees
We guarantee installation for 2 years and honour manufacturer’s guarantees. We offer an on-going aftersales service to our clients.
Our manufacturer’s offer the following guarantees. Leicht kitchen furniture 5 years, Quartz worktops 5 years. Electrical appliances 2 years. All guarantees subject to manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
FAQ
What is your average starting price for a small kitchen?
Our starting point for a small kitchen would be around £25K. This would include kitchen furniture, under unit lighting, worktops, back splashes, sinks taps and electrical appliances. Delivery and dry carpentry installation only.
How long does it take for you to design and specify a kitchen?
Each kitchen takes between 1 and 2 weeks to design and specify.
Do you offer a supply only service?
We are happy to supply kitchen furniture only if that is all that is required. However, most projects are handled from first contact to hand over by our design team. We can supply services drawings with electrical loadings as part of our design service.
What are your Delivery Times?
Allow a minimum of 8 weeks from order to delivery. Some appliances are in short supply (dishwashers have very long lead times)
