This metropolitan kitchen was inspired by the loft apartments in New York. We adapted the design to work in a London mews home. The subway tiles combined with the stainless steel peninsula creates an urban effect, and extending the furniture into the dining space enhances the open-plan living environment.
An elegant muted palette and minimalist design allow this high-specification kitchen to blend in with its beautiful surroundings, enhancing the striking beams and columns. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the family area by using low level units, connected to the peninsula.
The dark colours and satin finish of this kitchen absorbs the various levels of lighting within this space, and sets the perfect atmosphere for dining with friends. The sleek, streamlined design enhances the open-plan Penthouse apartment, and reflects the 'modern, cool and clutter-free' feel that was set within the brief.
